We are in the initial stages of making Daughters of the King Orphanage a reality. I would like to share with you some of our initial objectives.
Objectives:
With the help of the Board of Directors in Bolivia, the process for establishing Daughters of the King Orphanage as a non-profit organization has been started and its estimated completion is in June.
Upon arriving in Bolivia in July, I will continue to help the Board in the development of the documents needed for the license of the orphanage with local social services. This process takes three to four months. During this time, the home will need to be completely furnished for Social Services to give the license. Also, with the psychologist and social worker, we will develop growth and development plans for various age groups.
Staff will be hired in September and will begin training mid-September. Training consists of two full weeks of workshops, and trainings given by the social worker, psychologist and me. All training will be videotaped, for newly hired staff in the future.
We are expecting to receive girls into the home the first week of October, and will be ready to receive 20 children.
We are in need of financial partners that want to bless the lives of girls in Cochabamba, Bolivia. if you would like to become a Daughters of the King partner visit our give link.
